As an employer, you must provide workers' compensation insurance for your employees. If an injury legitimately occurs on the job, it is your carrier's responsibility to pay this claim. However, all injuries do not occur at work and all claims are not valid. As an added benefit of membership, a dedicated Workers' Compensation Claims Specialist is assigned to oversee each member company's claims.  

While many work comp carriers simply pay claims as submitted, members of the GSWC insist that this is not the best practice. Our member's claims are all carefully reviewed by specialists in this field. If the claim is valid, it is paid. If evidence is found causing questions to arise around the claim, further investigation is performed and the claim is disputed.

This additional level of investigation combined with the Specialist's dedication and knowledge of their client companies enable our members to save thousands of dollars each year in incorrect and fraudulent work comp claims.
